The author, Mr. Arpan Bhattacharyya comes from a middle-class family living in the heritage Dutch town of Chinsurah which is around an hour drive from the city of Calcutta in the state of West Bengal , India. He had spent most part of his childhood and adolescence in the pre colonial Danish Town of Serampore located in the district of Hooghly , state of West Bengal , India. He has obtained his elementary and higher school education from Protestant missionaries like The Assembly of God Church and Methodist School Missionaries.
Since his childhood, he has been an ardent follower of Tagore , the great Indian poet and American author Mark Twain and later on as he grew up being a Student of English Literature ,he was an admirer of the writings of
Sriram Ramakrishnan is a software architect by profession who hails from Chennai, a beautiful city in South India. He had a brief stint in Germany and Cyprus in the mid-2000s, before moving to the USA, where he has been residing for the past 15 years. He is an avid traveler who has visited more than 25 countries, has been on several backpacking road trips around the world, including England, Scotland, Iceland, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, and all the 50 states of the USA. Apart from traveling, he loves writing, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He never misses his daily meditation and yoga practice.
