Pāvils Rozītis (1889–1937) – rakstnieks, dzejnieks, žurnālists, tulkotājs, literāri publicistisku rakstu autors un literatūrkritiķis. Psiholoģiskās prozas tradīciju veidotājs latviešu literatūrā. Izkopis satīras un anekdotiskās noveles žanru, uzskatāms par 20. gadsimta 20. un 30. gadu latviešu anekdotiskās noveles spilgtāko pārstāvi. Sarakstījis 4 romānus, no tiem ievērojamākie ir 1928. gadā iznākušais romāns "Ceplis" un 1936. gadā publicētais darbs "Valmieras puikas". Romāns "Zemes prieks" (1937) nepabeigts. Vairāku dzejoļu, īsprozas un eseju krājumu autors. Rakstījis esejas par Kārli Skalbi, Jāni Akurateru, Jāni Jaunsudrabiņu, Viktoru Eglīti u.c., kas apkopotas 1920. gadā iznākušajā krājumā "Kultūras slāpes". Publicējis teātra recenzijas,

Aspazija
Aspazija (īstajā vārdā Elza Rozenberga) dzimusi Zaļenieku pagasta saimnieka ģimenē. Mācījusies Jelgavas Trīsvienības sieviešu ģimnāzijā (1874-1884). Pēc neveiksmīgām laulībām, kam sekoja māju zaudēšana, kopā ar ģimeni pārcēlusies uz Jelgavu, vēlāk strādājusi par mājskolotāju.

Eriks Ādamsons was born in Riga on June 22, 1907. In 1926 he entered the University of Latvia to study law. He made his first publication in 1924. In the 1930s he fully devoted himself to literature.
