Olga Herrera
Olga is an Author and Illustrator of children's picture books. Born in Miami, Florida to a Cuban mother and an Ecuadorian father. She grew up in Ecuador and returned to the United States as a teenager. From a young age she displayed an artistic ability that would shape her career path.
She earned her BFA from the Ringling College of Art and Design with a major in Illustration. She began her career in her 40s proving it is never too late to start.
Olga is the Co-founder of ILLO CHAT, a podcast about illustration and how to navigate the world of publishing.
She also teaches creative writing for picture books, mentors illustrators and writers and gives portfolio critiques to emerging artists.
