NIVES MADUNIĆ BARIŠIĆ rođena je 1968. godine u Osijeku koji još uvijek smatra svojim gradom premda živi i radi u Zagrebu. Školovala se na Filozofskom fakultetu i Akademiji dramskih umjetnosti u Zagrebu. Za djecu je napisala nekoliko igrokaza, poput „Mala zelena gusjenica“, „Naša je mama postala zmaj“, „Ispod zvončića se rodio kraljević“, „Luzer ili faca“, romane „Tajna čokoladnih bombona“, „Lunapark“ kao i romane serijala o Hani i Janku. Objavljuje priče u časopisima za djecu Prvi izbor i Radost. Objavila je nekoliko pripovjedaka, a jedna od njih uvrštena je i u antologiju „Svaka priča na svoj način”. Ante Tomić is Croatian writer and journalist.

A native of Split, Ante Tomić begin to write as a reporter for local daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija. His articles showed great literary talent that would manifest in his 2000 debut novel Što je muškarac bez brkova. Three years later he wrote novel Ništa nas ne smije iznenaditi, describing the life of recruits in Yugoslav People's Army. Both novels are adapted to screen.

Jurica Pavičić

Jurica Pavičić, pisac, kolumnista, scenarista, filmski kritičar. Diplomirao je komparativnu književnost i povijest na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zagrebu.

Alexandre Dumas fils

Alexandre Dumas (fils) (son) was born in Paris, France, the illegitimate child of Marie-Laure-Catherine Labay (1794-1868), a dressmaker, and novelist Alexandre Dumas. During 1831 his father legally recognized him and ensured that the young Dumas received the best education possible at the Institution Goubaux and the Collège Bourbon. At that time, the law allowed the elder Dumas to take the child away from his mother. Her agony inspired Dumas fils to write about tragic female characters. In almost all of his writings, he emphasized the moral purpose of literature and in his play The Illegitimate Son (1858) he espoused the belief that if a man fathers an illegitimate child then he has an obligation to legitimize the child and marry the woman.

Ivana Bodrožić

Ivana is a Croatian poet and writer.

She studied philosophy and Croatian Language and Literature in Zagreb.

She was awarded for her poetry book Korak u tamu (Pace into the Darkness) with the Goran-award for young writers, as well as the Kvirin Award in 2005.

Her poems have been published in various newspapers, magazines and anthologies, and some of them have been translated into English, German and Polish.

Her first novel Hotel Zagorje is a coming-of-age-novel. It's a book about the girl's life as a refugee, sharing a few squremetres with her mother and her brother, all of them waiting for a message of the lost father.

Ivana currently lives in Zagreb with her husband and two daughters.

Ratko Zvrko

Rođen je 20. travnja 1920. Ne zna se točno mjesto rođenja, nagađa se o Drveniku kod Konavala, gdje je proveo djetinjstvo ili Beogradu. Kao gimnazijalac smislio je slogan „Bilo kuda, Kiki svuda” za tvornicu Union (danas Kraš).

Počeo se baviti boksom u Dubrovniku. Meč karijere imao je u Dubrovniku, 11. travnja 1943. protiv prvaka Italije Lodovica Giobbija. Pobijedio ga je, što se slavilo kao pobjeda nad Talijanima, koji su u to vrijeme za Drugog svjetskog rata okupirali Dalmaciju. Slijedećeg dana, talijanske vlasti su ga zatvorile na neko vrijeme u tvrđavu Lovrijenac.

Bio je prvak Hrvatske u boksu 1945.. Poslije Drugog svjetskog rata, imao je meč s višestrukim olimpijskim pobjednikom, mađarskim boksačem Lászlóm Pappom.
