Nico de Braeckeleer

Nico De Braeckeleer werd geboren in Dendermonde op 8 april 1974. Tijdens zijn jeugd was voetbal zijn voornaamste hobby. Tot 1999 speelde hij veldvoetbal bij KFC Baasrode, daarna ging hij zaalvoetballen. Als kind had Nico een hekel aan lezen. Toen hij 13 jaar was, las hij voor het eerst zonder morren een boek. Geen wonder dat het om een fantasy-boek ging, want dit was lectuur die bij de meeste leraars niet echt in de smaak viel. Vanaf dat moment leest Nico boeken die bijna allemaal onder te brengen zijn in de genres fantasy, science fiction, mysterie, bovennatuurlijke thriller, magisch realisme, griezel en horror.
