Nermi Uygur
Nermi Uygur 1925 yılında İstanbul'da doğdu. Galatasaray Lisesi'nin Latince Bölümü'nü bitirdikten sonra, İstanbul Üniversitesi Edebiyat Fakültesi'nin Felsefe Bölümü'nde ve Almanya'da Köln Üniversitesi'nde okudu. 1952'de, kültür bilimlerine ilişkin bir yapıtla felsefe doktoru oldu. Avrupa'nın çeşitli ülkelerindeki öğrenim kurumlarında araştırmalar yaptı. 1963 yılından sonra İstanbul Üniversitesi'nde Felsefe Profesörü olarak çalıştı; Almanya'nın Wuppertal Üniversitesi'nde Mantık, Dil, Sanat, Kültür Felsefesi ağırlıklı dersler verdi.
