Ümit Yaşar Oğuzcan
22 Ağustos 1926 tarihinde Mersin'in Tarsus ilçesinde doğdu. Eskişehir Ticaret Lisesi’ni bitirdi (1946). Türkiye İş Bankası’na girerek Adana, Ankara ve İstanbul’da çalıştı. Halkla İlişkiler Müdür Yardımcısı oldu. Bu görevdeyken Haziran 1977'de emekli oldu. İstanbul’da kendi adını taşıyan bir sanat galerisi kurdu.
Şiire 1940 yılında Yedigün şairleri arasında başladı. 1975 yılına kadar 33 şiir, 4 düzyazı kitabı, 13 antoloji ve biyografik eser olmak üzere toplam 50 kitap çıkardı. Şiir plakları, şarkı sözleri ve yergileriyle tanındı. 4 Kasım 1984 tarihinde öldü.

Hakan Günday was born in Rhodes in 1976. He finished his primary education in Brussels. After attending Ankara Tevfik Fikret High School, he studied at the Department of French Translator in the Faculty of Literature of Hacettepe University. Attilâ İlhan was born in Menemen in İzmir Province, Turkey on 15 June 1925. He received most of his primary education in İzmir. However, because of his father's job, he completed his junior high school education in different cities.
