Milovan Vitezović
Milovan Vitezović (Serbian Cyrillic: Милован Витезовић) is a Serbian writer, professor and screenwriter. He writes poetry, novels, essays, reviews, aphorisms, and movie and TV scripts. He has published more than forty books in over one hundred and fifty editions, and his works are represented in over fifty anthologies of Serbian and international poetry, stories for children, aphorism, fantasy, and television drama. His probably most famous works are his novels, such as Lajanje na zvezde and others, which became a part of regular curriculum in Serbian schools.

Danilo Kiš was born in Subotica, Danube Banovina, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the son of Eduard Kiš (Kis Ede), a Hungarian Jewish railway inspector, and Milica Kiš (born Dragićević) from Cetinje, Montenegro.
