A former chief inspector, hostage negotiator, and emergency responder, Morgan has seen first-hand how power structures shape people, and how people can fight back. Now, as an academic and researcher in policing, technology, and security, he spends his time examining how systems of control operate, both in real life and in the dystopian worlds he creates.
His debut novel, KRIS.PR.: Deus Ex Hominus, blends genetic supremacy, cybernetic warfare, and the philosophical descent into posthumanism. It asks a simple question: What happens when a perfect, physical human specimen is forced to evolve?

Indie Champion2023
Hi, I’m Lizzie and I like writing about the ‘moment’ when the hero and the heroine fall in love. That, and trying to track down the all-elusive hero-in-a-kilt, is what gets me in front of the computer each morning. Since 2012 I’ve published six novels: Tall, Dark and Kilted, Boot Camp Bride, Scotch on the Rocks, Girl in the Castle, Take Me, I’m Yours and Harper’s Highland Fling. My latest novel, Dark Highland Skies is due to publish February 2023 and I’ve loved writing it. I organise the Leicester Chapter of the Romantic Novelists’ Association and present workshops on indie publishing to new writers. My feel good/uplit novels would be very happy to sit alongside Jilly Cooper, Jenny Colgan, Ji -

Adria Carmichael
Adria Carmichael is a writer of Young Adult Dystopian fiction with a twist. When she is not devouring dystopian and post-apocalyptic content in any format - books, movies, TV-series and PlayStation games - she is crafting the epic and highly-addictive Juche saga, her 2020 debut novel series that takes place in the brutal, totalitarian nation of Choson. When the limit of doom and gloom is reached, a 10K run on a sunny day or binging a silly sitcom on a rainy day is her go-to way to unwind.

I have had a diverse career as a waitress, bar lady, function coordinator, a rental agent, entrepreneur, store manager and office administrator.
I have met incredible people along the way who have shaped not just my life but also my journey Unfortunately, I have lost a number of those friends to bike and car accidents as well as cancer. I started writing a book a few years ago (it has since turned into a 5-book series). To honor and remember those I have loved and lost, I combined their personalities, looks and traits to create some of the characters in my books. -
