My first martial arts classes came by signing up for a six-week Taekwondo class taught by one of Eddie Gaston's black belts, a well-known martial artist in the Columbia area.
During the first week of classes, I became frustrated with the instructor's teaching methods and the limitations of the art, challenged the instructor, and beat him just from what I had learned from watching the movie. So, of course, I left that school and later found Genova Karate School. This is where I was tested and truly challenged. -
