Michael Strunge

Michael Strunge er en af 1980’ernes helt store lyrikere. I løbet af sit 27 år korte liv nåede han at udfri hele 11 digtsamlinger fra sin rablende poetiske hjerne. Det er poesi, der kan baske til enhver sløv læser. Energien er til tider så rå og konkret, og til andre tider så fuld af drøm, at man bliver ganske forført. 80’ernes punkmiljø og dets særlige musik og æstetik var en stærk inspirationskilde for Strunge.

Det stod klart allerede fra debutsamlingen “Livets hastighed” og blev ligeledes markeret med hans annoncerede afsked med punken i digtsamlingen “Skrigerne”. He grew up in Store Heddinge, Stevns, south of Copenhagen, where he went to school together with another Danish poet, Jens Fink-Jensen from 1968 to 1972. Yahya Hassan

Yahya Hassan was a Danish-Palestinian poet who has attracted attention and stirred debate about Islam's place in Denmark based on poetry he wrote which was critical of Islam.
His parents came to Denmark in the 80s as refugees from Palestine. He grew up with his parents and four sibling in Gellerupparken in Aarhus, an area which has been described as an immigrant ghetto. He grew up in a religious environment but has since abandoned religion.
At 13 he was transferred to an institution for children with problem behaviour due to difficulties adapting to school, and petty crime. He dropped out of school at thirteen.
He developed a keen interest in reading, litterature, and began writing poetry.

Caspar Eric

Caspar Eric er født i 1987 og har læst Litteraturvidenskab på Københavns Universitet.

I 2014 debuterede Caspar Eric som forfatter med poesi-udgivelsen ”7/11”. Det var med Caspar Erics egne ord en bog om at være ung i 2014, om popsamfundet og angsten for at blive outdated. Men det var også en bog om København, om kærlighed, om det, der er og sker lige nu. Og jeget i bogen ligner i udpræget grad Caspar Eric selv. Caspar Eric modtog desuden debutantprisen Munch Kristensens Kulturlegat 2015 på 50.000 kr. for ”7/11”.

”7/11” er Caspar Erics forfatterdebut i Danmark, men han har tidligere udgivet en mindre dobbeltdigtsamling på det norske forlag AFV Press. På samme forlag er udkommet yderligere to digtsamlinger af Caspar Eric i august 2014.

Édouard Louis

Emma Holten

Emma Holten (born 1991) is a Danish-Swedish feminist debater, online humans rights activist and editor of the Danish magazine Friktion. Holten graduated from the University of Copenhagen with a master's degree in literary science.
