Michael Pastore
Michael Pastore, is a novelist, a non-fiction author, and a poet who lives in the counter-cultured city of Ithaca, New York. He has traveled extensively -- always by bicycle, often sleeping under the stars -- in the USA, Europe, Turkey, and Greece. His more than 20 books include Thoreau Bound: a Utopian Romance in the Isles of Greece; Lark's Magic (a funny novel for children); Zen in the Art of Child Maintenance (novel); Zenlightenment; The Zorba Anthology of Love Stories; New Techniques in Child Maintenance; The Ithaca Manual of Style; and Teaching Kindness and Peace. Raymond Gantter
A graduate of Syracuse University who had played piano with jazz bands from the age of fourteen, Raymond Gantter was the program manager of the major radio station in Syracuse when he turned down his third draft deferment and entered the army. At thirty years of age, nearly six feet tall and 130 pounds, he made an unlikely infantryman, but in six months, he went from private to acting squad leader to acting buck sergeant before being awarded the Silver Star and a battlefield commission. He began to write the journal that became ROLL ME OVER in September 1944 and finished the manuscript in 1949. He died in 1985, survived by his wife and two children. His manuscript was published by Ballantine Books in 1997.

Colonel Tom Yarborough, USAF (ret.) served in the Air Force for thirty years in a variety of flying and staff assignments. Henry Rausch
Henry Rausch graduated from Stanford University and after earning a commission at Officer Candidate School reported to USS L Mendel Rivers (SSN-686) in August 1985. There he served as an Engineering Assistant, Communicator, and Sonar Officer. The ship conducted four classified missions for which they were awarded the Meritorious Unit Citation, two Navy Expeditionary Medals, and the Arctic Service Ribbon.
