Melida Tüzünoğlu

Melida Tüzünoğlu 1984 yılında İstanbul’da doğdu. Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’nde Sosyoloji ve Film Çalışmaları lisansının ardından Budapeşte Central European University’den Sosyoloji ve Sosyal Antropoloji yüksek lisans derecesini aldı. Görsel kültür ve kolektif hafıza üzerine yazdığı tez çalışması İngilizce olarak yayımlandı. 2008 yılında Hollanda’ya giderek Universiteit Maastricht Avrupa Çalışmaları bölümünde ikinci yüksek lisansını Tanzimat Edebiyatı ve Batılılaşma üzerine yazdığı tezle tamamladı. Öyküleri ve yazıları 2002 yılından bu yana dergilerde yayımlanmakta. İlk romanı Ambulansla Dünya Turu internet sitesi idefixtarafından yapılan oylamayla 2011’in en iyi ilk romanı seçilirken, 2012’de içinde çizimlerinin de yer aldığı öykü kitabı Annem

Hakan Günday was born in Rhodes in 1976. He finished his primary education in Brussels. After attending Ankara Tevfik Fikret High School, he studied at the Department of French Translator in the Faculty of Literature of Hacettepe University. Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar was a Turkish writer and politician.

Gürpınar was the son of a family close to the Ottoman court, born in Istanbul. Having lost his mother at an early age, he was sent to Crete where his father was an Ottoman civil servant, however he was soon sent back to Istanbul, where he was brought up by his aunts and grandmothers in Istanbul.
