Matt Twinley

Matt Twinley is a children’s and young adult author with a love of legends, fantasy and adventure. He grew up around Arundel in West Sussex and still remembers the awe of seeing its castle rise into view on the school bus home – an image that stayed with him and eventually inspired his first children’s book, Bevis the Giant: Hero of Arundel.

Matt is also the author of The Blood Crystal, the first book in The Trucekeeper Saga – an epic young adult fantasy series brimming with mythical creatures from around the world and a magic system inspired from his wife’s experience with type 1 diabetes.
