E.M. Riedl
E. M. Riedl—or Emri for short—is a Canadian geek who always wondered why authors needed biographies. When not plagued by the existential crisis of having to write about herself in the third person, she spends her leisure time playing role-playing games (of the video and tabletop variety) and reading about obscure history facts far too late into the night.

Ever since she started writing fantasy books at the inadvisable age of ten, Emri has been pursued by plot bunnies. She had successfully run away from them before completing anything—until now.
Her time of blissful, daydreaming procrastination ended with A Weave of Lies, her debut standalone novel. Emri is now planning many more fantasy romance books set in the Woven Worlds universe. -
Erin Hortle
Erin Hortle is a Tasmanian-based writer. Her short fiction and essays have been published in a range of Tasmanian and Australian publications. The majority of her academic and creative writing explores the ways in which experimental approaches to writing might facilitate new ways of imagining the human's relationship with the more than human world, with a distinctly feminist bent. Topics she writes about currently include ambergris, surfing and surf culture, pelagic birds and octopuses. When she's not writing, she can usually be found curled up with a book, or floating and drifting in the Tasman Sea or Southern Ocean. The Octopus and I is her debut novel.

Aimee Hyndman
Aimee Hyndman has been writing ever since her toddler fingers could grasp a pencil. A lover of all things speculative fiction, she spent many a night penning the beginnings of novels that would never see the light of day. Now attending college in Iowa, double majoring in Creative writing and English, she has clearly never lost her love of the craft.

Penelope J. Bristol
Hello! I’m a middle school teacher trying my hand at writing YA and Sci-Fi drama. First of all, I love books! Imagine a grown woman who devours Kristen Hannah, Ruth Ware, Lisa Jewell, and Jojo Moyes. Oh my God, I love Jojo Moyes!

My attempts at becoming an author are quite literally a mash up of what I’ve adored in my favorite books coupled with a myriad of life experiences. The Sci-fi obsession started in grade school where I fell in love with Ray Bradbury’s Illustrated Man. So, what you’ve got here is a book/space nerd teacher who’s addicted to audible. I’ve truly wanted to become a writer since my sophomore year of high school. Now that fifty is knocking on my door, I’ve moved on it. Lesson here-stop waiting to create a life you love.
