Markku Mantila
Peräseinäjoella lapsuutensa elänyt Mantila tuli ylioppilaaksi 1983. Hän opiskeli Turun yliopistossa 1986–1991 ja valmistui valtiotieteiden maisteriksi pääaineenaan valtio-oppi ja sivuaineena poliittinen historia. Hän suoritti M.Sc.-tutkinnon London School of Economicsissa 1993. Hän oli toimittaja Ilkassa 1985–1988 ja Turun Sanomissa 1988–1994, josta ajasta neljä viimeistä vuotta taloustoimittajana. Hän on työskennellyt valtioneuvoston viestintäjohtajana, sanomalehti Kalevan ja sitä ennen sanomalehti Pohjalaisen vastaavana päätoimittajana sekä ulkoministeriössä. Markku aloitti Ilkka-Pohjalaisen ensimmäisenä päätoimittaja vuoden 2020 alussa. Mantila on palvellut diplomaattina Suomen suurlähetystöissä Etelä-Koreassa ja Espanjassa. Markku Manti
