Marjolein van Pagee

Marjolein van Pagee (1987) is historicus, fotograaf en auteur van opiniestukken en artikelen voor onder andere de Jakarta Post. Van 2006 tot 2009 deed ze een Bachelor Fotografie aan de Akademie voor Kunst en Vormgeving St. Joost in Breda en van 2016 tot 2018 volgde ze een Master Koloniale en Wereldgeschiedenis aan de Universiteit Leiden. Van Pagee reist sinds 2010 regelmatig naar Indonesië, deed met name historisch onderzoek op Oost-Java en Madura en woonde in 2014 een half jaar in Surabaya. In 2016 richtte ze het online platform Histori Bersama op.
