Polska pisarka, felietonistka, varsavianistka, prawniczka i orientalistka. Ukończyła autorską klasę humanistyczną z rozwiniętym programem wychowania estetycznego w VII LO im. Juliusza Słowackiego w Warszawie, a następnie prawo na Uczelni Łazarskiego oraz iranistykę na Wydziale Orientalistycznym Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. By nauczyć się języka tureckiego, dwa lata studiowała turkologię. Przez kilka lat pracowała jako prawnik oraz przewodnik miejski po Warszawie.
