Margrét Örnólfsdóttir
Margrét "Magga" Örnólfsdóttir (b. 1967) is a former member of the Sugarcubes, mother of five and author of four novels for children and young adults. She is also a script writer and wrote the script to Regina, a popular musical film for kids. Örnólfsdóttir received the the Icelandic Literary Prize for Women’s Fiction in 2012 for Made in China, and was nominated for the West Nordic Children’s Literature Prize for the same book.
