María Fasce

María Fasce (Argentina, 1969) is a writer and the literary director of Alfaguara in Madrid. She has translated Marcel Proust and Patrick Modiano, and has worked as a journalist, literary and cinema critic. Her work has been translated into French, English, Russian, Dutch, Portuguese and German.

She has published several novels and story collections, including La verdad según Virginia (Virginia’s Truth) and La felicidad de las mujeres (The Happiness of Women, Primer Premio del Fondo Nacional de las Artes 1999). The Woman of Isla Negra was written as part of the Writers in Residence program in Amsterdam.

Her collection of unpublished stories Un hombre bueno (A Good Man) won the Premio Iberoamericano Cortes de Cádiz 2015.

Nell Leyshon is a British playwright and novelist born in Glastonbury, Somerset. At the age of eleven, she moved to a small farming village on the edge of the Somerset Levels. Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor (née Coles) was a popular English novelist and short story writer. Elizabeth Coles was born in Reading, Berkshire in 1912. She was educated at The Abbey School, Reading, and worked as a governess, as a tutor and as a librarian.

In 1936, she married John William Kendall Taylor, a businessman. She lived in Penn, Buckinghamshire, for almost all her married life.

Georgi Gospodinov

Georgi Gospodinov is a writer, poet and playwright based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University. Later he defended a PhD on New Bulgarian literature with the Bulgaria Academy of Science's Institute for Literature. He is one of the most translated Bulgarian authors after 1989. Milena Michiko Flašar (St. Pölten, 1980) studied comparative literature, Germanic and Roman languages at the University of Vienna, and taught German to non-native speakers. After several successful publications in a variety of literary magazines, she made her debut in 2008 with the collection Ich bin (I am).
