Madalena Matoso (Lisboa 1974) estudou Design de Comunicação na Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Lisboa e pós-graduou-se em Design de Gráfico Editorial pela Faculdade de Belas-Artes de Barcelona.
Em 1999 criou com três amigos o Planeta Tangerina, atelier de ilustração e design gráfico.
Em 2006 o Planeta Tangerina começou também a editar álbuns ilustrados.
Com os livros Uma Mesa É uma Mesa. Será?, Quando Eu Nasci e Andar por Aí recebeu menções especiais no Prémio Nacional de Ilustração (todos editados pelo Planeta Tangerina e com textos de Isabel Minhós Martins, em 2006, 2007 e 2009 respectivamente). Em 2008 recebeu o Prémio Nacional de Ilustração pelo livro A Charada da Bicharada, editado pela Texto Editores com texto de Alice Viei

Tom Percival
Tom Percival writes and illustrates picture books (you know, for kids) as well as illustrating books written by other people. The most well known of these is probably the excellent Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy.

He grew up in a remote and beautiful part of South Shropshire. On reflection this seemed rather more remote than beautiful, owing to the fact that he lived in a small caravan without electricity, mains water or any sensible form of heating. He thinks that he’s probably one of the few people in his peer group to have learnt to read by gas lamp.
Surprisingly enough he has never been called ‘hippy’ (to the best of his knowledge)

Jon Klassen
Jon Klassen received the 2010 Canadian Governor General’s Award for his illustrations in Caroline Stutson’s Cat's Night Out. He also created illustrations for the popular series The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place and served as an illustrator on the animated feature film Coraline (2009).
