Mårten Melin

Mårten Melin debuterade 2003 och har sedan dess gett ut över sextio barn- och ungdomsböcker. Förutom att skriva böcker gör Mårten författarbesök i skolan och är lärare på skrivarkurser för barn och ungdomar. Han är utbildad bibliotekarie och har gått Skrivarlinjen och Skrivpedagogutbildningen på Skurups folkhögskola.

Mårten menar att lättlästa böcker är en demokratifråga och att alla har rätt till upplevelsen som en bra bok kan ge. Han har också skrivit lättlästa böcker för vuxna, utgivna på Vilja förlag.

Jenny Jägerfeld

Jenny Jägerfeld made her literary debut in 2006 with a hole in my head. Her second novel, Me on the Floor, Bleeding, was in 2010 rewarded with The August Prize for best youth novel in Sweden. It’s her first novel translated to English.

Originally a child psychologist, she now runs her own psychologist practice in Stockholm. She also works for the Swedish national radio, in a radio show about psychological matters.

Muriel Spark

Johan Rundberg

Johan Rundberg föddes 1973 i Knislinge i Skåne, men bosatte sig som vuxen i Stockholm. Han upptäckte glädjen i att skriva och läsa under tidiga skolår, och var en flitig biblioteksbesökare. Så småningom läste han litteraturvetenskap och tv-produktion på universitetet. Det ledde honom till jobb på SVT och MTG. Från sin utbildningstid hade han även erfarenhet av att jobba med bildsatta manus. Därifrån hämtade han inspiration till att också prova att göra bilderböcker.
