Luc Deflo was een van de bekendste en spannendste Vlaamse thrillerauteurs. Meer dan 15 jaar schreef hij de ene bestseller na de andere. Hij onderscheide zich vooral door de psychologische profielen die hij schetste. In 2008 won hij de Hercule Poirotprijs.
