As a recovering yo-yo dieter who has struggled with body image, I channeled those experiences into my debut novel, Fat Girl, and its conclusion, A Naked Beauty. Sadly, I think most women, regardless of their weight or size, can identify with some aspect of body insecurity and self-doubt. I am inspired by the theme of loving yourself and discovering your own intrinsic worth.
