Leif Randt

Leif Randt (* 1983 in Frankfurt am Main) ist ein deutscher Autor. Er lebt in Maintal-Ost und Berlin.

Randt studierte Kreatives Schreiben und Kulturjournalismus an der Universität Hildesheim. 2006 war er Finalist beim 14. open mike der Literaturwerkstatt Berlin, 2007 mit dem „Vli-Mintstroem-Projekt“ beim Plopp!-Hörspiel-Award. Er schrieb das Drehbuch „Innocence“ für eine Razor-Film-Produktion und trat 2008 beim PROSANOVA-Festival mit einer Performance auf. 2009 gewann er den Jurypreis des KulturSPIEGEL-Wettbewerbs,[1] im gleichen Jahr erschien sein Roman „Leuchtspielhaus“ im Berlin Verlag. Peter Ulrich Weiss was a German writer, painter, and artist of adopted Swedish nationality. He is particularly known for his play Marat/Sade and his novel The Aesthetics of Resistance.

Weiss' first art exhibition took place in 1936. His first produced play was Der Turm in 1950. In 1952 he joined the Swedish Experimental Film Studio, where he made films for several years. During this period, he also taught painting at Stockholm's People's University, and illustrated a Swedish edition of The Book of One Thousand and One Nights. Dr. Sven Lindqvist was a Swedish author of mostly non-fiction.

He held a PhD in History of literature from Stockholm University (his thesis, in 1966, was on Vilhelm Ekelund) and a 1979 honorary doctorate from Uppsala University. In 1960–1961, he worked as cultural attaché at the Swedish embassy in Beijing, China. From 1956–86 he was married to Cecilia Lindqvist, with whom he had two children. Jenny Erpenbeck is the daughter of the physicist, philosopher and writer John Erpenbeck and the Arabic translator Doris Kilias. Her grandparents are the authors Fritz Erpenbeck and Hedda Zinner. In Berlin she attended an Advanced High School, where she graduated in 1985.
