Lee Lovelace
The author is a fifty something dude who hasn't quite grown up. As long as he can remember,
he wanted to be a writer but kept putting it off until he finally managed to get his act together.
A number of years ago he fell in love with The
Appalachian Trail and all things hiking related.
He lives a full-time RV life with his wife, Michelle, and two golden retrievers, Sawyer, and
Finn. He is constantly traveling with his family
while pretending to do a remote "real" job so he
can take their money while also writing.

Ryan Benz
While successful by most external measures, by his early thirties, Ryan Benz felt empty and exhausted, dissatisfied with his life, and eager to strengthen his connection to himself and the natural world. In the prime of his life, he chose a nontraditional path, diving headfirst into the world of mindfulness and letting go of everything contributing to his unhappiness-including the career he had spent over ten years building. Turning to the healing power of nature, Benz's trek took him over two thousand miles through the woods from Georgia to Maine, and with each step traveled, he returned a little closer to his true self. Ryan now spends his time sharing his story to show others they have the power to choose their own path.

Audrey Payne
Hi, I'm Audrey Payne. I'm an avid hiker and backpacker, and in 2018, after recovering from a debilitating spinal injury, I quit my job in Washington, D.C., to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Then, I wrote a memoir about it! Now, I live in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, where I get outdoors every chance I get. Check out my trail memoir, "Where the Rhododendrons Bloom: A Thru-Hiking Adventure on the Appalachian Trail" to learn what it's REALLY like to hike the AT and what happens if you dare to follow your wildest dreams.

Despite achieving a first-class honours degree in Biological Anthropology at the age of 49, she refuses to be drawn into the rat race, or let her life be defined by it. This is baffling to many people…particularly to her mother!
If you asked her for advice, she’d say three things:
Always find something to be thankful for – but sometimes you have to look REALLY hard.
Always find something to laugh at – even if it's yourself!

A theme in my books is the celebration of overcoming odds and of not allowing the cruelty of the universe to change who you are in the process. Most of them are classified as science fiction, since they often take place in the future, but if you love great stories and memorable characters, you'll dig what you find here. I promise. -
