I am a 53 year old mother of 4 sons, living in the beautiful Southern Highlands. I began my career in journalism but it never got off the ground, (I sold out after one year of study and one attempt at a cadet-ship) but after several mundane and mediocre jobs, I returned to University and became a Primary School Teacher. Many wonderful, fulfilling years down the track, I turned 40 and then out of nowhere... BOOM! - an unexpected life crisis came hurtling my way - Happy birthday to me! It all very nearly got the better of me but instead, I rallied and morphed into something more which led me to study a Diploma in Counselling and also reignited my passion for writing. I have now self-published 3 books - all memoirs - Smashed To Pieces, Piece B
