Ladun Alabi is a British Nigerian author.
She was born in Nigeria, where she spent six formative years in a girls’ boarding school before moving to the UK at age 18.
Her work explores themes of childhood trauma, generational pain, memory, and womanhood, often through the lens of West African heritage, queer perspective and diaspora identity.
Drawing from lived experience and cultural myth, she writes emotionally layered narratives that blend realism with speculative elements.
She lives in the UK, where she juggles parenting, writing, and a chaotic midlife plot twist with as much humour and honesty as possible while sipping coffee with one eye on her next chapter.
Education: Degree in Marketing & Business Law and a Masters' Degree in Business
