Kurt was born and spent his early years in Kansas City, MO, living literally across the street from the major league sports stadiums. As a preteen, he came to Northern California and has been there ever since. Over the years, his passions have ranged anywhere from rollercoaster enthusiast to avid reader of fiction to musician/song writer to video gamer. He knew he enjoyed creating his own stories as early as sixth grade. The idea of seriously pursuing writing excited him and he finally gave in to the calling in his mid twenties when he realized that feeling wasn't going anywhere.
