Kristina Sheldon is a wife, mother, and nurse from Chesterfield, Virginia. Growing up, Kristina dreamed of being a veterinarian. While she ultimately found her calling as a nurse, Kristina’s love of animals persisted.
Kristina rescued her first dog, Lola, while attending Virginia Tech. Lola watched Kristina grow up during her young adult life and witnessed Kristina fall in love with her husband, Austin. When Kristina and Austin married, Lola gained two furry siblings in Maggie and Baxter. The three dogs watched on as Kristina and Austin expanded their family to include their two children.
Kristina was inspired to write this book as a love letter to her pets, a thank you for helping her grow into
