Hi, I’m Kerry and I like dragons, monsters and magic. I grew up reading fantasy books in the 90s and found that they didn’t have many inspiring female characters, or in some cases any female characters!
Thankfully a lot has changed since then, but I still enjoy redressing that imbalance by writing fantasy books full of awesome female characters.
I studied at the University of St Andrews where I did an MA in Medieval History. During my degree I learnt all about castles but my imagination had to fill in the dragons and monsters!
