Jul
Jul est né en 1974. Avant de devenir dessinateur, il vagabonde dans de longues études, de Normale Sup' à l'agrégation d'Histoire, de la recherche en sinologie à l'enseignement universitaire... Mais son enfance passée dans une école alternative a semé des graines coriaces : défroqué de l'Education Nationale, il entre comme dessinateur au Nouvel Observateur, puis à Charlie Hebdo en 2001 où la joie du dynamitage hebdomadaire de l'actualité le conquiert définitivement.
Il collabore en parallèle à maints journaux : Philosophie Magazine, Lire, Les Echos, l'Huma, Marianne, Le Point, Fluide Glacial... Depuis 2008, il dessine chaque semaine sur le plateau de La Grande Librairie sur France 5.

Morris
The Belgian author Morris (full name Maurice de Bevere) is best known for his humorous cowboy character, Lucky Luke. Morris started his career in 1945 in Le Moustique, creating various covers and illustrations. By the end of the 1940s, Morris met his colleagues Jijé, Franquin and Will. These four artists would be called "The Gang of 4", because they all worked in Jijé's studio at that time. The first episode of Lucky Luke, 'Arizona 1880', was published in L'Almanach Spirou 1947, and was later continued in Spirou. In his early 'Lucky Luke' comics, Morris was greatly inspired by animated cartoons à la Disney.
