Josip Mlakić suvremeni je bosanskohercegovački pisac. Rođen je 1964. u Bugojnu. Diplomirao je na Strojarskom fakultetu u Sarajevu. Živi u Gornjem Vakufu te se bavi književnošću i pisanjem scenarija.
