Josephine Rombouts

Josephine Rombouts (1971) studeerde kunstgeschiedenis en Nederlands en gaf taaltrainingen aan expats, dansers en musici. Ze woonde vijf jaar met haar gezin in de Schotse Hooglanden, waar ze achtereenvolgens huishoudster, personal assistant en manager was op een kasteel. Eerder verschenen haar bestsellers Cliffrock Castle en Terug naar Cliffrock Castle.

McLeod was born in Paramaribo as Cynthia Ferrier; she is the daughter of Johan Ferrier, the first President of Suriname, and the sister of author Leo Henri Ferrier.

She completed her secondary school education in Suriname and continued her education in the Netherlands, where she studied to become a teacher in Child Care and Education. Nino Haratischwili

Nino Haratischwili (Georgian: ნინო ხარატიშვილი) is a Georgian-born German novelist, playwright, and theater director.

Haratischwili was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia, where she attended a German-language school. To escape the political and social chaos that followed the collapse of the Soviet Union, she moved to Germany for two years in the early 1990s with her mother, where she attended the seventh and the eighth grade of school. Her family returned to Georgia afterwards. Haratischwili later moved to Germany again in order to attend drama school in Hamburg. She became a German citizen in 2012.
