Jonas Lüscher
Jonas Lüscher, geboren 1976 in der Schweiz, lebt in München. Nach einer Ausbildung als Primarschullehrer in Bern und einigen Jahren in der deutschen Filmindustrie studierte er an der Hochschule für Philosophie in München. Derzeit arbeitet er als Doktorand am Lehrstuhl für Philosophie der ETH Zürich. 2013 erhielt er den Berner Literaturpreis und den Bayerischen Kunstförderpreis. Sein Debüt Frühling der Barbaren stand auf der Longlist für den Deutschen Buchpreis.

Urs Widmer
Urs Widmer was born in Basel in 1938. He studied German, Romance languages and History in Basel, Montpellier and Paris. In 1966 he completed his doctoral thesis on German postwar prose, and then worked as an editor for Walter Publishing House in Olten, Switzerland, and for Suhrkamp Publishing House in Frankfurt. In Frankfurt he stayed for 17 years, though with Suhrkamp only until 1968. Together with other editors he founded the ›Verlag der Autoren‹. Until his death Urs Widmer lived and worked as a writer in Zurich.

Benjamin Wood was born in 1981 and grew up in Merseyside. He is the author of five novels, the latest of which, SEASCRAPER, was longlisted for the Booker Prize 2025. His first book won France's Prix du Roman Fnac and Prix Baudelaire in 2014. Caroline Wahl (born 1995 in Mainz) is a German author. Her debut novel, 22 Bahnen, was published in April 2023 by DuMont Buchverlag. After her school days, she studied German studies and German literature in Tübingen and Berlin. After that and among other things, she worked as a publishing assistant of the Diogenes Verlag in Zürich. Her love of the sea led her to Northern Germany in 2022 where she worked for a communications agency in Rostock. Since the success of her debut novel, she lives as an independent author in the Hansestadt.
