Jon Fine is the author of YOUR BAND SUCKS: What I Saw At The Failed Indie-Rock Revolution (But Can No Longer Hear, and the executive editor of Inc. magazine. His writing about wine won a James Beard Award in 2011, and previously his writing about media won awards from the National Headliners Club and the American Society of Business Publication Editors. His work has also appeared in The Atlantic, GQ, Spin, Food & Wine and ESPN the Magazine. In an ongoing alternate life as a musician, he has performed in over a dozen countries on three continents . Though the passage of time has severely eroded many of his most dearly-held convictions, he remains certain he cherishes Black Sabbath's first six albums and dislikes most pop music.

John Gunther
