There is more than one author with this name
John Bond is an illustrator, author and artist. Growing up on a farm in the Cotswolds, he went on to study a degree in Illustration at Kingston University, London. He now lives and works in Worthing on the south coast.
His debut picture book, ‘Mini Rabbit Not Lost’ – published by HarperCollins – was nominated for best picture book in the 2019 Waterstones Book Prize. The follow up title ‘Mini Rabbit Must Help’ published in June 2020 with the final book in the series, ‘Mini Rabbit Come Home’ being published in March 2021.
John has recently joined forces with award winning author, Peter Bently, to work on a series of exciting new picture books. Their first title 'Dogs in Disguise' (published Sep 2021)

I grew up in a tall Victorian London house with my parents, grandmother, aunt, uncle, younger sister Mary and cat Geoffrey (who was really a prince in disguise. Mary and I would argue about which of us would marry him).
Mary and I were always creating imaginary characters and mimicking real ones, and I used to write shows and choreograph ballets for us. A wind-up gramophone wafted out Chopin waltzes.
I studied Drama and French at Bristol University, where I met Malcolm, a guitar-playing medic to whom I’m now married.
Busking and books
Before Malcolm and I had our three sons we used to go busking together and I would write special songs for each country; the best one was in Italian about pasta.

Oliver Jeffers

Benji Davies
