For as long as Joana can remember, she wanted to be an artist of some kind, so she became an architect. Once her first child was born, she started dreaming of becoming a children’s book author and set out to make that dream come true. When she isn’t reading, writing or driving her children around, you might find her dancing to Broadway tunes, watching old movies or hanging out with her family. Originally from Brazil, Joana now lives in Florida with her amazing husband, her three extremely creative children and a rambunctious Morkie.
