પ્રકાશકે ખુબ કહ્યું કે મારા વિશે હું વિસ્તારથી પરિચય લખી આપું. આ આત્મવૃત લખવામાં અહીં આવતાં ‘હું, મારું, મારા’ જેવાં સ્વ-કેન્દ્રી શબ્દોના અતિરેક બદલ માફી ચાહું છું:

હું વિશ્વમાનવ, નોર્થપોલ, અને ધ રામબાઈ નવલકથાઓનો વાર્તાકાર છું.

મારો જન્મ ગુજરાતના અમરેલી જીલ્લાના સરંભડા નામના ગામે વર્ષ 1991માં ખેડૂત પરિવારમાં થયો. હું B.tech Electrical ભણ્યો. એન્જીનીયરીંગ છોડીને અંતે વાર્તા-સર્જક થયો. હાલ બેંગ્લોર રહું છું. વિશ્વમાનવ (2014), નોર્થપોલ (2018), ધ રામબાઈ (2020) નવલકથાઓ બાદ હાલ નવી નવલકથા લખી રહ્યો છું.

મને અડદની દાળ અને બાજરાના રોટલાં ખુબ ભાવે! સવારનો કૂમળો તડકો, સાંજનો ઢળતો સૂરજ, અને રાત્રીનું અગોચર આકાશ ખુબ પ્રિય. વરસાદ તો એટલો પ્રિય કે નવલકથાઓમાં એ પાત્ર હોય છે. નદી-કિનારે, દરિયે, ખેતરે, કે જંગલોમાં જાત

Pannalal Patel was born on 7 May 1912 in Mandli village (now in Dungarpur, Rajasthan) to Nanasha aka Nanalal and Hiraba, an Anjana Chaudhari family. He is youngest among his four siblings. His father was a farmer and used to recite Ramayana, Okhaharan and other mythological stories for his village. This earned his house a nickname "abode of learning". His father died during his childhood and his mother Hiraba raised the children.

Dhruv Bhatt was born on 8 May 1947 in Ningala village of Bhavnagar State (now Bhavnagar district, Gujarat) to Prabodhray Bhatt and Harisuta Bhatt. He studied at various places, standard 1 to 4 at Jafrabad and Matriculation from Keshod. After studying commerce for two years, he left further studying[1] in 1972 and joined Gujarat Machine Manufacturers as Sales Supervisor. He voluntary retired and started writing career.[2]

His novel Akoopar has been adapted into a play directed by Aditi Desai.[3] Tattvamasi was adapted into the 2018 Gujarati film Reva.[4]

Jhaverchand Meghani (Gujarati: ઝવેરચંદ મેઘાણી; August 28, 1896 – March 9, 1947) was a noted poet, litterateur, social reformer and freedom fighter from Gujarat. He is a well known name in the field of Gujarati literature. He was born in Chotila. Mahatma Gandhi spontaneously gave him the title of Raashtreeya Shaayar (National Poet).[1] Besides this he received many awards like Ranjitram Suvarna Chandrak and Mahida Paaritoshik in literature. He authored more than 100 books. His first book was a translation work of Rabindranath Tagore's ballad Kathaa-u-Kaahinee titled Kurbani Ni Katha (Stories of martyrdom) which was first published in 1922. અશ્વિની ભટ્ટ (Ashwini Bhatt)

Ashwini Bhatt was born to educationist Harprasad Bhatt and Sharadaben Bhatt on 12 August 1936 in Ahmedabad. He graduated in psychology. He was interested in theatre and he worked as a child artist in Gujarati adoption of Bengali drama Bindur Chhele (Bindu No Kiko). He had failed in several business ventures like poultry farm to a vegetable vendor before starting career as a writer. He moved to United States in 2002. He died on 10 December 2012 at Dallas, Texas, US

He wrote twelve novels and three novellas. He translated several works in Gujarati including Alistair MacLean and James Hadley Chase. He also translated Freedom at Midnight by Collins and Lapierre in Gujarati as Ardhi Rate Azadi which was critically acclaimed.

Mehta was born in Mahuva near Bhavnagar, Gujarat on 25 May 1928. He completed his school education from M. N. Highschool in Mahuva.
