Allister Thompson is a musician and professional book editor based in North Bay, Ontario, Canada. He has released dozens of albums in the genres of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, folk, and ambient. He has also edited countless novels in all genres in his 20+ years in the publishing industry.
Outside of literature and music, he really likes trees and rocks, which are abundant where he lives.
Emily is author of Autokrator, a dystopian spec fiction novel and Hemo Sapiens, Sept 30, Canada, Oct 28, USA, a wicked, urban and sophisticated twist on the vampire myth. Forthcoming Emily will have a short story in an anthology about monsters with Dundurn Press and is Co-Editing "Whatever" a short story collection of works by Canadian GenX authors, along with Ali Bryan.
Emily was raised in a hippy community in Coe Hill Ontario on organic farm. She worked as a professional in the film industry for over 30 years, including as an Art Director on Murdoch Mysteries, Baroness Von Sketch, and as various roles on The Bride of Chucky.
