Jay Ann Foley writes romantic mystery stories based in equestrian settings. Having ridden since childhood, she continues to ride although nowadays at a more sedate pace!

The Misfit is Jay Ann's first novel, set within the world of horse-racing. Her second novel, Jumping Free, is based around a riding stables in the Scottish Highlands.

Her other love is reading, and whenever she couldn’t be with horses, she was reading about them. She now has many decades of experience, starting, schooling and riding horses and of the camaraderie between riders as shown in Riding the Dale.
