Javed Rasin
Javed Rasin (Bengali: জাবেদ রাসিন) is a Bangladeshi poet & fiction writer. He was born in Mymensingh but has raised in Dhaka from childhood. Javed completed his graduation & post-graduation in law from the University of Dhaka. He likes the charm of prosody and playing with words which fits into poetry. Shunno Pother Opekkhay (শূন্য পথের অপেক্ষায়) was his maiden published poetry.
Also the world of fiction, especially thriller & horror fiction fascinated him and he started writing in this genre. His first published thriller fiction novel was Blackgate (ব্ল্যাকগেট), co-authored with Tarim Fuad. His other works are horror novel Tomisra (তমিস্রা) & conspiracy novel Circle (সার্কেল). He continued to produce poetry and to work on fiction novels.

Syed Mujtaba Ali was born in Karimganj district (in present-day Assam, India). In 1919, he was inspired by Rabindranath Tagore and started writing to the poet. In 1921, Mujtaba joined the Indian freedom struggle and left his school in Sylhet. He went to Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan and graduated in 1926. He was among the first graduates of the university. Later, he moved to Kabul to work in the education department (1927–1929). From 1929 to 1932 he studied at the universities in Berlin, London, Paris and Bonn.
