Jami Brumfield
Jami M Brumfield has a passion for the paranormal, supernatural, and mythological worlds for most of her life. She believes there is a kernel of truth in every story and loves playing detective to discover what that hidden truth is. She has written most of her life. She started with poems and short stories, then graduated to journalism working for online websites like examiner.com. It was only a natural progression that her love of writing and her passion for the unknown would combine. Lone Wolf Rising the first book of the Winters series is the product of that union.

Some people like to write about one important idea or tell stories that are of a well-known type, romantic novels are one example. My life has been very varied and I have chosen to write in a variety of ways. Some examples are: my recent collection of short stories, "Found Money," in which I set out to explore the idea of wealth coming to people in totally different ways. Then a Young Adult book "Saved by a Tweet" that is about teenage romance and a thrilling and dangerous episode the two lovers go through. One of my best books is "How I died, and what I did next." Before 2013 is out I will have added a book on spirit guides and what they have to tell us; "Fine Writing" a book of poetry and prose; "Spiritual Walkabout," my memoirs; and a sc

What is it about writing an author bio that gives me that deer-in-headlights feeling? It's not exactly like I'm going to say "I was born in Alabama…" and somebody's going to jump up and snarl, "Oh yeah? Prove it!" At least I hope not.

I think what gets me feeling itchy is all that emphasis on the facts of a life, while all the juicy, relevant, human oddity stuff gets left on the cutting room floor. But that doesn't really give you much insight into me. That doesn't tell you that I stuck a bead up my nose while watching TV when I was four and thought -
Kelley Armstrong
Kelley Armstrong has been telling stories since before she could write. Her earliest written efforts were disastrous. If asked for a story about girls and dolls, hers would invariably feature undead girls and evil dolls, much to her teachers' dismay. All efforts to make her produce "normal" stories failed.

Grew up in a town called Niceville. No, seriously. And yes, everyone from Niceville is generally nice.
Let's see, things about me....My writer's cat is a mini wiener dog named Puckdoo. I can't walk in high heels, but I'm amazing at standing still in them. I'm the only person in Florida without a tan. I stole a car when I was 12 years old and drove across three state lines with it. Yeah. That's about it.
