Eileen Chang is the English name for Chinese author 張愛玲, who was born to a prominent family in Shanghai (one of her great-grandfathers was Li Hongzhang) in 1920.

She went to a prestigious girls' school in Shanghai, where she changed her name from Chang Ying to Chang Ai-ling to match her English name, Eileen. Afterwards, she attended the University of Hong Kong, but had to go back to Shanghai when Hong Kong fell to Japan during WWII. Entre sus muchas peripecias vitales destaca haber sido editor de la conocida revista cultural madrileña Arto! Ha residido en Madrid y Barcelona y colabora con diversas revistas nacionales. Julián Ayesta Prendes (Gijón 1919-1996) fue un escritor español de posguerra, colaborador de las principales revistas literarias de esta época (Garcilaso, Acanto, Fantasía, Juventud).
Nacido en el seno de una conocida familia asturiana, se licenció en Derecho y en Filosofía y Letras, y en 1947 ingresó en la Carrera Diplomática. En este ámbito ocupó diversos cargos en distintas legaciones en Beirut, Bogotá, Ámsterdam, Viena y la antigua Yugoslavia, en la que fue Embajador de España.

Mary Ann Clark Bremer (New York in 1928 - Geneva in 1996).

The daughter of a cosmopolitan family, she spent part of her childhood traveling through North America, England and various Mediterranean countries. Pilar Adón nació en Madrid el 12 de octubre de 1971.

Estudió Derecho en la universidad Complutense de Madrid y se especializó en Legislación Medioambiental.

A los diecisiete años ganó su primer premio literario en RNE-R3 con un relato breve. En 1995 empezó a publicar relatos en revistas literarias como La Hora Feliz, El Pájaro de Papel y Píntalo de Verde, de Mérida.

Es autora de los libros de relatos Viajes inocentes, y de las novelas Las hijas de Sara y El hombre de espaldas.

En el año 2007 fundó con Enrique Redel y Laura Calvo la Editorial Impedimenta. Desde entonces realiza labores de asesoría literaria y gestión de derechos para dicha editorial.

Mayte López

Mayte López (1983), escritora mexicana. Es doctora en literatura y culturas hispánicas por la Universidad de la Ciudad de Nueva York (CUNY) y tiene una maestría en escritura creativa de la Universidad de Nueva York (NYU). Carlota Gurt

Carlota Gurt i Daví (Barcelona, 1976) és una traductora i escriptora catalana. És llicenciada en Traducció i Interpretació per la UVIC, en Humanitats, Empresarials i Estudis de l'Àsia Oriental per la UOC i en Comunicació Audiovisual per la UAB. Té un MBA especialitzat en mitjans de comunicació. Ha cursat, també, l'itinerari de narrativa de l'Ateneu Barcelonès.

Entre 1998 i 2010, va treballar en l'àmbit de les arts escèniques, com a cap de producció i ajudant de direcció de La Fura dels Baus, i com a cap de producció al Temporada Alta.

Llucia Ramis

Llucia Ramis Laloux (b. 1977) was born in Majorca, and moved to Barcelona when she was eighteen to study journalism at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Since then she has worked in radio, as editor-in-chief of the literary magazine Quimera, and at the newspaper Diario de Mallorca. She also directed and presented Això no és Islàndia (This isn’t Iceland), a television program about books. She has shared an apartment with fourteen people—not all at once, but almost.
