J.J. Kang was born in the colorful, lawless swampland that is Florida, and she identifies as a disaster. She graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor with a B.S. in Cellular Biology and a minor in Psychology. However, her heart has always belonged to the written word so she has traded in her lab coat to pursue her dream of being a published novelist.

Other than reading and writing, J.J. enjoys kickboxing, crochet, and binging TV shows on a streaming device when she absolutely should be working instead.
