Isabel Rio Novo nasceu no Porto, onde se doutorou em Literatura Comparada. Leciona Escrita Criativa e outras disciplinas no âmbito da literatura, cinema e outras artes, sendo autora de diversas publicações académicas nessas áreas. Integrou os júris de prémios literários e de fotografia. Os seus textos de ficção estão presentes em várias antologias, com destaque para a primeira coletânea de contos do Centro Mário Cláudio (O País Escondido, 2016). É autora de O Diabo Tranquilo, a partir de poemas de Daniel Maia-Pinto Rodrigues, da novela A Caridade (2005, Prémio Literário Manuel Teixeira Gomes), do livro de contos Histórias com Santos (2014) e dos romances Rio do Esquecimento (2016, finalista do Prémio LeYa e semifinalista do Prémio Oceanos),

Georgi Gospodinov is a writer, poet and playwright based in Sofia, Bulgaria. He studied Bulgarian Philology at Sofia University. Later he defended a PhD on New Bulgarian literature with the Bulgaria Academy of Science's Institute for Literature. He is one of the most translated Bulgarian authors after 1989.
