Indhumathi
Indhumathi (இந்துமதி) hails from the district Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. She has written nearly a hundred books, including three collections of short stories. National and regional televisions have adapted her works for serials, like 'Tharaiyil Irangum Vimaanangal' and 'Shakthi' by Doordarshan, 'Nee, Naan, Aval' by Vijay TV, 'Ganga Yamuna Saraswathi' by Sun TV and Raj TV. She worked as the editor-in-chief of a magazine, Ashwini and has been a member of the Film Censorship Board.

Dhandapani Jeyakanthan, otherwise known as 'JK' among his friends and comrades, is a multi-dimensional personality, well known in the literary circle as a prolific writer, commentator, pamphleteer, film-maker and critic. He has won acclaim for wielding his pen against social injustices and economic inequality. Jeyakanthan was born in a family of agriculturists in Manjakuppam, a suburb of Cuddalore of the erstwhile Madras Presidency. Anuradha Ramanan (அனுராதா ரமணன்) was a Tamil writer, artist and a social activist born in 1947 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. Her grandfather R. Balasubramaniam was an actor who inspired Anuradha to become a writer. Anuradha started her career as an artist before making several unsuccessful attempts to get a job with popular magazines. This prompted her to join Mangai, a Tamil magazine after the editor found her writings very interesting. Anuradha's literary career started in 1977 while working for the magazine.
