Idir Aitsahalia

Idir N. Aitsahalia's first name means "life" in Kabyle, a native language of North Africa's indigenous Berber people. Born in Chicago to a French mother and an Algerian father, Idir grew up in an academic family and knows a thing or two about college campuses. He has traveled to over fifty countries and speaks nine languages. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting vintage LEGO models, discovering new ethnic foods, and singing opera in the shower. He has worked in several startup companies before going to Princeton University, where he studies Economics.
