My name is Michelle Worthington and I am an internationally published award winning Australian author of empowering picture books for kids of all ages. My goal is to be known for unique, classically elegant and compassionate stories that inspire young children to fall in love with books and reading.
After a career as a librarian, Paulette Bochnig Sharkey turned to writing. She is the author of two library reference books and dozens of articles for parenting publications and children’s magazines. A DOLL FOR GRANDMA: A STORY ABOUT ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE is her first picture book, inspired by her work as a volunteer pianist in memory-care homes.
