Tom Percival writes and illustrates picture books (you know, for kids) as well as illustrating books written by other people. The most well known of these is probably the excellent Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy.

He grew up in a remote and beautiful part of South Shropshire. On reflection this seemed rather more remote than beautiful, owing to the fact that he lived in a small caravan without electricity, mains water or any sensible form of heating. He thinks that he’s probably one of the few people in his peer group to have learnt to read by gas lamp.

As a boy growing up in New Jersey, Christian Slade carried his sketchbook everywhere he went. It was said that he sometimes lived in another world, and it was this other world within the pages of his sketchbook that inspired him to draw from his imagination and the world around him. Kay Healy

Through her life-sized drawn, painted, and screen-printed fabric installations, Kay Healy investigates themes of home, loss, displacement, and resilience with interview-based projects.

Healy received a BA from Oberlin College and a MFA from the University of the Arts. Her installation Coming Home was purchased by the Pennsylvania Convention Center, and her work has been supported by the Independence Foundation’s Fellowship in the Arts and the Leeway Foundation.

Jerzy Drozd is the author/illustrator of The Front: Rebirth and has worked on Antarctic Press’s Ninja High School as well as projects for Marvel Comics, Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, and others. He most recently worked with Dan Mishkin and Ernie Colón on The Warren Report: A Graphic Investigation of the Kennedy Assassination, published by Abrams ComicArts.

He has produced several long-running podcasts including Comics Are Great, Kids Comics Revolution!, Art & Story, Lean into Art and more. He shares his passion for comics by teaching cartooning workshops in libraries and schools and is a co-founder of the annual Kids Read Comics festival.
